Hipstars Are the New Money Belt
PEPY is currently marketing a product of its own design, the Hipstar, in markets around the city of Siem Reap. The Hipstar is a belt-wallet made from the traditional Khmer scarf, the Khroma. This unique product is a fashionable way to carry important items like mobile phones, passports, and cash, but the Hipstar is much more stylish than the traditional money belt. PEPY contracts the production of the Hipstar to M'Lop Tapang, an organization working to support education and skills training to young women in Cambodia. Purchase of a Hipstar supports both PEPY and M'Lop Tapang.

Hipstars can be bought in Cambodia for $10 US, or $15 for international orders to cover shipping costs. They come in various sizes and a wide array of solid colors and traditional patterns. To learn more about the Hipstar, or to order one of your own, please email orders@pepyride.org.

One thing to keep in mind is that you can easily and quickly move the buttons and make a hipster fit you exactly. As such, you don't want to estimate too small, but if you guess around your size, it will be easy to make it fit you exactly right.
Small tends to be for very small people or teenage girls. Medium and large fit most average women. XL for people who might where L or XL in the US.
I hope that helps!
Thanks so much for your interest in The Hipster!
