Art project @ Preah Lean

Last week Preah Lean students & teacher spent an afternoon with visiting graphic designer Maria Perez (www.totodesign.com) and resident PEPY staff, Thavry Thun (www.thavry.com) on a participatory art project to decorate their new school.  For most students it was their first opportunity to paint!  Teachers, PEPY staff, and even community members joined to design the artwork and spent the afternoon perfecting their flower gardens.   While she was here, Maria also helped train PEPY staff on graphic design and drawing, and created the third in a series of early literacy books that PEPY is printing for us in our Classroom Library Project.  Stay tuned to our Team Journal for more of her fabulous work!
